As a qualified Holistic Massage Therapist and Aroma Therapist, using Essential Oils at work and in the home is an everyday thing.  Sadly, there are so many people out there that don’t understand how powerful and beneficial these oils are in helping to de-stress the mind and body.

What is Aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy is a Holistic Treatment which means the mind, body and spirit are taken into account to improve the health of an individual.  Aromatherapy involves the use of essential oils which are extracted from plants to improve physical and emotional well-being.  It also helps to promote health and vitality by stimulating the body to heal itself and by reducing stress, which is often a cause of many ailments and illnesses.

Essential Oils are fragrant oily components extracted from various parts of a plant, such as petals of flowers, leaves, roots, seeds, fruits, woods, grasses, and resins.

Plant extracts have been used for their healing properties for thousands of years.

All essential oils have therapeutic properties, which make them useful for treating certain ailments and conditions.

Whilst massage is the most common method of applying aromatherapy as part of a treatment, there are many other methods such as: Inhalation, Oil Burners, Baths and Compresses.

The oil blends that we have created are to help promote inner peace and a happier mental state.
